2004 Annual Report

Effective April 1, 2005, MMC instituted certain organizational changes affecting MMC's reportable segments. In order to reflect these changes, MMC filed a Current Report on Form 8-K, dated August 12, 2005, amending the following parts of its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the year ended December 31, 2004: the description of its business appearing in Item 1; its management's discussion and analysis of financial condition and results of operations appearing in Item 7; and its segment data and related disclosures contained in the audited consolidated financial statements appearing in Item 8.
